Cuban Slide

Walk-Da-Walk-Three
++I mean, I like SZA's new stuff but miss her old verses in Wu Tang.

++Speaking of which I like to pretend Jesse Jackson drops in for one verse of that Imagine Dragons Believer song they play all the time in the part where he's saying something that sounds like Hibbidy Jibbidy and a rat-tat-tat-tat.

++I wish this list came with more pix. Never know if I am allowed to/should eat the flower. Ah, here we go. Orchids are the ones the restaurants are using these days.

[Oof, so many conflicting reports on safety. Bottom line for me, do NOT eat the orchid. Do not eat the orchid.]

++Big year for the gangster tatt font seen on both Tay Swift's newest album and Lady Bird posters. For anyone interested, it, and its variations are all based on one called Walk Da Walk, which I heart in the descriptive sense. A name that sounds like it looks. (Note: Probably traced back to Olde English, but that wouldn't be as fun to write about.)

MOTORHEAD

++Update: Oh wow, I'm too busy to delve into this now but it turns out there are actually four families in this kind of design! Textura, Rotunda, Schwabacher and Fraktur! Fascinating! I guess the verdict is that it is Blackletter that is in this year, within the textura family.
