Self Control

Had a great time ripping through several years of KCRW's Guest DJ Series and it reignited my devotion to some artists I thought I'd played to death. At about 5 minutes a pop, it was a fun crash/refresher course. Almost all the dudes cited Led Zeppelin and Public enemy like it was pre-programmed into them or something and Prince's catalog is always a given, but two songs that came up repeatedly and unexpectedly from people from all walks of life: Ben Folds Five's The Luckiest and Beck's song Debra. And Andy Cohen being a big Deadhead was a surprise (and storyteller). Anyway, for some new listens my fave list came from Drunk chef and YouTuber Hannah Hart. Please to enjoy!
