Basia Bulat! She got past me again last year. Her songs never make a huge impression at first, and have a way of quietly getting past only to spring up later with a powerful poetic force. A sneak attack of sorts, like that little girl with the textbooks in Men In Black.

In this video she could be Michelle Williams' doppleganger from afar and has the strength to carry a small tune in a biggole cold, scary lobby all by her lonesome...:
