David Gilmour of Pink Floyd has been working with The Orb. I like a couple of things about this viddy:

 

++Hammocks.

++How the video has no introduction, or many words at all for that matter (biggest pet peeve about videos in general.)

++How he's going around recording natural sounds (see last Jarvis Cocker post.)

++This is not in the video, but after doing some reading up on both The Orb and Gilmour, both are interested in not only recording real sounds but manipulating them into something completely new. frontiers.

++..that from an environmental standpoint, there's a lot going on in a small space.

++How, despite the fact that it is electronica, Gilmour does infuse some feeling into the guitaritry.
