Darkwaves

Coldcave
Unlike some artists who have released upbeat and party-ous songs in reaction to these hard economic hard times, others like Wes Eisold of Cold Cave are choosing to enjoy the darkness, as Depeche Mode never said.

Eisold has not only been a part of several well-received musical projects, he also runs an indie publishing company called Heartworm Press that publishes underground punk works. In this interview, Eisold recalls that his obsession with music started with someone pointing out the people at the mall, all dressed in black, who listened to the Smiths. Cold Cave's album Love Come Close is out now.
