Thieves Like Us
Uh oh, someone's been geekin' out over Holy Ghost(!).
Info about HG!, Arthur Baker, New Order, Nancy Whang, and Madonna wannabes along with mp3s after the jump.>>
Holy Ghost has had a couple of my favorite remixes over the past few years, the most recent being Phoenix's Listzomania (officially titled the "Holy Ghost Loves Paris Remixomania" remix, now who's gonna pass *that* up?). Go find it now.
They gave Moby's I Like to Move In Here the same treatment back last year.
In this video released this past July, Nancy Whang from The Juan McLean stars as a pizza artist by day and disco rat by night. The laid back song has elements of both new wave and disco (aka, my favorite intersection in music). (ahead of only the onramp of Polka to acid jazz.)
The video is a remake of New Order's classic Confusion, and includes cameos by producer Arthur Baker who was also in the original video, and frankly hasn't changed all that much appearance-wise. I Will Come Back is Holy Ghost's Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel's first original song release in two years.

Holy Ghost: I Will Come Back.mp3 was here.
Read more about the legendary Arthur Baker, who worked Afrika Bambaataa, Bob Dylan, Hall and Oates and another "legendary" producer, Quincy Jones, in this Wiki article.
The remake is remarkably true to the original. Play compare and contrast for yourself:
