Carp Diem

Sphat I stumbled on this Dr. Horrible style series of webisodes by the band Illinois that are darling. The whole thing is super lo-tech and off-kilter. Arch, from Illinois, stars as Kelz Kid Catastrophe.
Chapter 1 introduces the series that debuted in November of last year:

In Chapter 2 Arch boxes, and his goldfish dies. He's bummin.

Chapter 3 he relates his grief to his hottie neighbors. Ooh foreshadowing!:

In Chapter 4 he goes to the fish store and instead, reels in happiness. (Wonderfully flat, depression inducing chords in this song, worthy of Eels.)(P.S. Just discovered that Eels have/has a new album coming out, for the first time in 4 years!)

And finally in Chapter 5, Kid Catastrophe settles into life with his dear, beloved goldfish. Or does he? Another gorgeous song:

Aw. The intro states that there are 6 eppys but this seems to be the end? Kid Catastrophe is out now.
