Jibbin' For A Livin'

So here's the video of the day. Its for an old song called Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wrecks by the Blood Brothers. As you can tell by the name of the band, the name of the song, the way it is sung, (I used to use that screeching shrill voice to annoy my brother. Am getting misty and sentimental just listening to this..) and the video itself, these guys are not ones to sit calmly and drink chamomile tea on the veranda.

I'm a big fan of old crusty bars with old-timers/drunks. Unless you come with a tap attached to your person, old drunks in the type of joint you see here don't care who you are or what you are wearing and barely look up from their drinks.. unlike most hip places in L.A. where the once-over when you enter the room includes a full CT scan and the screening wands they use at airports. Yes, okay, the wands are blinged out, and it is the only time people in L.A. engage any type of actual, human, physical contact, but still...
