-Its been a few years since we last checked in on her... Yup, Gwen Stefani is still pregnant.

-Entertainment Weekly has news of Chris Meloni and Amy Sedaris starring in Gym Teacher: The Movie. Anyone hoping for Subversive Amy will have to wait a little longer,  I've seen the trailer and it is very, how should I put it.. Nickelodeon. EW also reports that former Spacehog frontman Royston Langdon may take over lead singer duties for Velvet Revolver from Scott Weiland.

-I've vaguely referred to The Muslims a few times in the past. Much like Vampire Weekend way back when, the Internet seems to keep spitting them up again every so often. Its the provocative name, I'm sure.. All you bands out there can't take the naming business too seriously in the endless sea of band names.

The Muslims are from San Diego and ooh they'll be at the Echo this week. Some songs gathered from various sources below. Their music is tight though strangely easy on the ears for a "rock outfit."

I'd say the pick of the bunch is Extinction and its accompanying lo-fi video, seen here. Though the lead singer needs to stop pulling on those mountain branches and read up on the process of erosion.
