Broken Boy

Haven't said much about the latest Raconteurs album because I gave it a few spins when it first came out and wasn't feelin' it. Decided after reading the Rolling Stones poll (that I posted about a few days ago) to give it another chance and am still not completely sold. What can I say, I like melody. I am however, crazy about the 50's flavored song Many Shades of Black and have had it on repeat for the past several days. What's weird is that Brendan and Jack's voices are so similar that I sometimes can't tell who is singing what. So I looked it up and happily its BB on lead vocals here. (Yay.) He really needs to cut the hair and maybe eat a ciabatta roll... but of course the appeal, for me, is in his sad voice, anyway:

Am hoping that it will be their next video and that they camp it up...its a grandiose song. Raconteurs Many Shades of Black mp3
