Bubblegum Heaven

Well, scratch everything I said about there not being anything good to listen to or look at, because it was viewer's choice night on Subterranean and the getting was good. If you're listening, Subterranean, do the viewer's choice thing more often, it was a much appreciated change of pace.

The video that caught my eye was the Tegan and Sara-like song LES Artistes by Santogold, who has blown up like crazy since I talked about her not so long ago (hey whatchu doing on Buzzfeed SOG!?). What I most liked was the striking, spooky sight of her sitting on a horse and the seriousness on her face, and the entire color scheme of the video, do check it out if you have a few minutes. The song itself is mostly meh. But who needs a great song in this visual age of ours?:

Santogold: LES Artistes.mp3

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a link to the other great vid of the night, Tapes'n'Tapes' song Hang Em All.

Other downloadworthy songs o'da show:

Tapes'n'Tapes: Hang Em All.mp3

The Wombats: Lets Dance To Joy Division.mp3 (recommended)

Bird and the Bee: The Polite Dance Song.mp3

And lastly, Disconap has the new Annie video up (and its awesome)! Woot! Can't wait.
