An Alright Start

20080211131727photo6_2In the March issue of Interview Magazine, Drew Barrymore sits down for a tea and cookies with (the lately much maligned and backlashed against) Ellen Page. The interview is surprisingly meaty considering that the world weary Page is only 21 and Barrymore is, well, Barrymore. I'm always looking for more good media recommendations to consume and here were a few of hers:

Books: I'm a huge fan of Haruki Murakami. He wrote this books called Kafka on the Shore that I could read again and again because his imagination is just absurd. (Also Kurt Vonnegut's Mother Night.)

Favorite Movie: The 400 Blows...the insane impact Truffaut had was just obvious.

Aack! Running low on time, but she also likes the Sigur Ros album Agaetis Byrjun [An Alright Start] particularly the song "Svefn-d-englar" (which would be a terrible Wheel of Fortune puzzle) and Peaches.

Sigur Ros Svefngenglar mp3 was here
