George/Lucas
Here's a find that's a little different, a little bit of a departure for Stop Okay Go. Different because I don't usually care for the female singers and bands. At least not in the indiesphere where they are often too cutesy for my taste. (Care for a warm, fuzzy blanket statement??)
British singer Emmy the Great definitely fits into this normally gag-inducing twee mold, and yet for some reason, there's something slightly sarcastic to her delivery, her voice, or her words that have make her for the most part tolerable. (That's as high as the compliments come around here, ladyfolk!)
It might be that she has a video where she talks about M.I.A. and uses pieces of felt to convey a song's storyline. I generally have a positive regard towards felt as material that possibly translates into a general positive regard for Ms. "The Great." I wouldn't describe it as an unconditional positive regard, per se...for example, if I were to hear an interview in which she used the snooty phrase "per se" this feeling might change.

-She'll be performing at SXSW.
